南蛮窯焚き

	01-伝統の蹴ロクロ traditional kickwheel
	02－蛇窯俗にいう蛇窯は単室の長窯。登り窯が登場する以前の窯。 Jyagama Jyagama, the snake kiln is a long single-chamber cross-draft kiln. Jyagama is a form of kiln before Noborigama.
	03－窯焚き焼成時間は標準６昼夜。二人一組で交代で焼く。 Six night and day normal as for firing time. Two people fir a kiln in a set by turns.
	04－窯焚き正面の焚き口からの焚きこみは三日余り続く。 We must continue firing it from front fuel hole more than three days.
	05－窯焚き三日目、炎はすでに窯の半分まで伸びている。 On the third day, the flame in the fire box has already run to the half of the kiln.
	06－窯焚き天井の火吹き穴から出る炎。この炎で窯内に流入する酸素の量がわかる。 The flame which comes out of the flame vent on the ceiling. This flame shows quantity of oxygen coming into the kiln.
	07－窯焚き ”差し木穴”からの焚き込み stoking
	08－窯焚き「差し木穴」の蓋が灼熱し、窯内を流れる炎が透けるように蓋の上から見える。 The covers of stoking holes being incandescent. It seems to be able to look flame through the cover.
	09－窯焚き高温の還元性の煙が、外気の酸素に触れて発火して激しく燃える。そろそろ火止めのときが近い。 The reducing　smoke of high temperature touches the oxygen of the fresh air and catches fire. It is time of the finish soon.
	10－窯焚き熔倒棒の倒れ加減で熔内温度を判断する。熔倒棒は作品と同じ土で作る。 The stick is made with clay same as body of the work. And it melts by a thermal effect and falls down. It shows a chance of finish to us.
	11－窯だし窯後方から前方への眺め。窯の出入り口は窯の中央付近と最後尾にある。 Unloading : Views from the rear of the kiln to the front (most unloading ends in) There is the doorway in the center and the tail of the kiln. Works are been unloading from the rear to the front while taking off a shelf.
	12－壺群像蛇窯による南蛮焼き締めの焼成は、効率の良いものではない。昔から南蛮に手を出すと窯屋は倒産するといわれていたそうだ。毎回かなりの量で傷を負った作品が出る。傷を負った壺の群像。 The firing "Namban"with the snake kiln is not an efficient. It was said to go bankrupt by firing of Namban from old days. A lot of defective articles are unloaded every time. A group of displayed defective large jars in the garden.
