　久々のスタジオ録音盤ですが、レコード会社との契約ができずに自主リリース
という形です。エリック・クラプトンとB・B・キングの共演盤のタイトルにも使われた
ジョン・ハイアットの（５）の他ニール・ヤング、トム・ウェイツの曲を取り上げています。
アシュリーは敬虔なクリスチャンであり、すべての曲は宗教的メッセージが込められて
います。その中の（３）は９．１１のテロについての曲で信仰が無かったら打ちのめされて
自分を失っていただろうと歌っていますが、無信仰な人間には神が何故にあんなに
無慈悲な行為をするのかと信仰に疑問を持つのではないかと考えてしまいますが、
それも神の与えた試練と考えているのでしょう。曲自体は、アシュリー特有の情感溢れる
静かなるシャウトで心を打つものです。これだけの力量を持った人がクリスチャン音楽
専門レーベルですら契約してもらえないというのは寂しいです。彼女よりキャッチーで
派手でもあるアナステイジアですらアメリカでブレイクするのに大変時間がかかって
いるという状況下ではしかたがないのかもしれませんが。
　ほとんどミディアム・テンポのシンプルな８ビートの曲なのでアルバムを通して聞くと
単調な感じがするのが残念です。そんな中（１３）はモダン・フォーク風で印象に残ります。
