Biography
Born in 1962 in Tokyo. It acts from 1984 to 1987 as a member of "Pizzicato Five".
It debuts from "Non-standerd Label" of the "Teichiku Records" by produce of "Haruomi Hosono" in 1985. Album "Couples" is released from "CBS/Sony Records" in 1987. Afterwards, it parts from this group in 1987. It likes techno music and old Latin-American music and old jazz, and it is reflected in the composition.
Recently, a lot of film music of Japan and sound tracks of a famous TV drama are composed, and a lot of fans have been acquired.
"CBS/Sony Records"changed the company name to "Sony Music Entertainment Inc." in 1991.
